DR PADMAJA ARADHYA, M.D.
Dr. Padmaja Aradhya joined Island Neuro Care in year 2003. Dr. Aradhya completed her internship at Catholic Medical Center. Thereafter, she joined Nassau University Medical Center as a Resident in Neurology. Subsequently, she completed her training in Clinical Neurophysiology. Her passion for neurology is quite evident with the multiple board certifications she has obtained over the years. She is Board Certified in Adult Neurology, Neuromuscular Medicine, Vascular Neurology, Epilepsy, and Brain Injury Medicine. She is also a Diplomate of American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
Her interests and expertise ranges from simple migraine headaches to as complicated as Lou Gehrig's disease to subtle presentations of epilepsy and post-concussive syndrome, to name a few. She is well liked by her patients. She is also a strong advocate for her patients in all aspects of patient care. From her fervent eagerness to talk to another physician with regards to patient care or to have a word with the diagnostic center or to emphatically speak to the insurance company for the necessity of a drug, therapy or medical test, she is always ready to help her patients. No wonder, she draws platitudes of appreciation from her patients. Having served as an expert witness for her patients, her passion for patient rights advocacy is very profound.
Dr. Trivedi founded Island Neuro Care around 1999 and developed a very successful patient following. With the dedication he has had for his patients and for the profession, his practice evolved and kept growing. Subsequently, the practice shifted to Massapequa, NY for a bigger and better patient care.
